Vineyard and wine tourism in the natural park of Luberon

What guides us every day is to highlight what nature gives us. We are part of and participate in the development of an exceptional terroir, where biodiversity and agriculture are omnipresent.

When you come to us, customers, partners or family or friends, we make sure to associate with this place of life with kindness.

Many vineyards and trees of the Domain were born well before us, we owe them Respect. We are part of an exceptional biodiversity: earthworm, red-tail, tits, hares ... each finds its place and its balance. We live and work in this exceptional environment that welcomes us, we must respect it. Every wine is the result of what Nature does, not what we do with Nature. We only cultivate harmony with Respect.

Only the Passion allows us to accomplish beautiful things. It is this same passion that allows us to make artisan wines. We work with our hands, the vine is demanding but we are also demanding with it. From pruning to disbudding until the harvest, the passion of a job well done every day makes our hand to do the right thing.

Thus, we produce limited quantities of a quality wine that fully reflects our terroir in Northern Luberon in AOP Ventoux. Our red wines are spicy, with notes of sour cherry, our aromatic white wines, our fresh and gourmet rosés.The gray clay of our soil brings them this unique typicity.

A castle

Château Saint Pons is a Family property of 10ha on the side of the Hill of Wells at 350m above sea level, located in Villars-en-Provence, in the Regional Natural Park of Luberon .

Surrounded by forests, facing the Monts de Vaucluse , the Domaine benefits from a beautiful biodiversity. The plots are lined with hedges conducive to maintaining and the development of crop auxiliaries.

A domain

The Estate, planted with vines aged 10 to 50 years , represents fully AOC Ventoux with 8 most representative grape varieties of the appellation: Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and also Grenache White, Roussanne, Clairette and Viognier.

Led in integrated farm management, the Domaine promotes grass cover, work soil, short pruning, disbudding and harvesting in green to produce a grape of quality and for a yield not exceeding not 35hl / ha .

The grape harvests are manual, the traditional vinification in stainless steel vats, aging in enamelled vats and oak barrels.

'Our Earth', clay-limestone dominated by gray clay confers our wines of the typical notes of our terroir. Our red wines are spicy, with notes of sour cherry, our aromatic white wines with notes of white fruits, our gourmet rosés with citrus notes: the gray clay of our soils brings them this unique typicity.

For biodiversity

We grow vines, but this nourishing land that welcomes us must be a carrier of other products. You will soon discover our vegetable garden, our herbology, our aviary with chickens and pigeons and our apiaries. So many projects that will participate in maintaining the biodiversity of our field.'

A discovery

Wine tourism allows to taste wines, to enjoy a lodging in the vines but it must also be a cultural discovery.

In addition to visiting our cellar, a walk in our vineyards, a picnic at sunset on our most beautiful terrace of vine, of our lodging, we will make you discover our soil, his traditions, his products and especially our profession of Winegrower .

We will make your meeting a unique moment.
